Supreme Court Ruling 16 April 2025

In a landmark ruling in the case of For Women Scotland Ltd (Appellant) v The Scottish Ministers (Respondent) the UK Supreme Court has clarified that in the Equality Act 2010, the words ‘woman’, ‘man’ and ‘sex’ refer to biological males and females.
