Billingham correspondence with Humanists UK

Leaving aside the fact Billingham thinks it OK to suggest that I “promote hate” against trans people when there is not one iota of evidence that I do so, he seemed to be under the impression that somehow his membership money would be used to fund the Harrow Humanists’ meeting. In spite of having joined the Humanists UK, he doesn’t appear to understand how it is constituted or its relationship to local groups, even though this is fully explained on its website. Local humanist groups are independent of the national organisation. They can choose whether or not to affiliate. If they decided to do so they pay an annual fee to Humanists UK – not the other way around!
